Bio
Emma has worked in the field of Judaism early child education for over fifteen years. She earned her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at American Judaism University in a cohort generously funded by the Rodan Family Foundation. She participated in the Judaism Early Childhood Education Leadership Initiative, (JECELI) in the San Francisco Bay Area Cohort. For three years Emma served as a teacher and a Judaism Resource Specialist (JRS), a leadership program originated by the San Francisco Judaism Community Federation’s Judaism Early Childhood and Family Engagement Initiative. As the JRS, she worked to deepen Judaism learning and engage families in Judaism life. Emma has been the director of Gan Shalom for three years. An alumna of Gan Shalom herself, Emma knows how important a Judaism education is and is passionate about helping the next generation of American Jews form their Judaism identity.
